Editor's Note

Dear all,
What a journey the past few months have been! It is so good to be gathered with you all here again for another volume of Carmina. The site has undergone major changes since we were last here: I was at last able to complete the re-design that I have been talking about for months if not years now.
For the tech nerds among us, I completely overhauled the code for the entire site, and I mean completely . I code Carmina myself, and my code from the first version when I was still a baby developer was absolute spaghetti. I did a lot of organizing, tidying, and refactoring. I also moved over all the past issues that were orphaned on our old Wordpress site and set them up here with shiny new pages. All in all, I'm happy with how the new Carmina has come together. I'm sure, of course, I've missed or messed up a few things. Please use the "report a bug" button on the homepage liberally!
Thank you all for your patience, your kindness, and your understanding as I worked on this—the re-design took quite a while, and I had to push back release dates several times, working on the site in-between my day job and other obligations. Your encouragement and support made a world of difference while I was in the trenches of code and screen glare.
At long last, we are together again, Carmina has been reborn, and I'm so excited to share the new site and our newest issue with all of you.
Thank you, again. I'm so glad you're here.
Until next time,
